It is summertime and who doesn't love it! The weather is so warm and sunny, the skies are blue, the air so fresh and clean, the birds are singing and all the earth is rejoicing.....the garden is growing and soon the farmer's markets will be overflowing with all the freshest greens and veggies ever! This thing called summer is maybe the closest thing to heaven we have on earth!
How we long for simpler days and times in this age of advanced technology and life seemingly so speeded up. Summer may be the perfect time to disconnect from it all.... off with my shoes to take a walk in the freshly mowed grass; ride my bike around like a kid; take a trip to the beach with my grandchildren and sit on the shore, smell the salt air and watch the sailboats on the bay and the children playing on the shore and being just........children!
Fresh foods from the garden and the sea for dinner with family and friends and life couldn't be simpler or better.....this is summer and it is calling and saying "live life simply and fully and enjoy every moment that you have because it is the moment that counts...it is God's present to us!"
